ROOP, Natasha Lee - 30, of Middleton, died December 16, 2005, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of Christopher and Sharon (Haight) Roop. A graduate of Middleton Regional High School in 1993 and Atlantic Baptist University, Moncton in 1999, Natasha found comfort and solace in music as a member of the Middleton High School Concert Band and the Middleton Baptist Church and its choir. She was employed at Convergys, Cornwallis Park and took great pleasure in her work. Her hobbies included needlework, cross-stitch and shopping. She could always be seen driving her little yellow "Bug" with the music turned up loud. She is survived by her Mom and Dad, sister, Melissa (Greg) White and niece Emma, Kentville; brother, Matthew (Karen Parsons), Middleton; grandmother, Margaret Johnstone, Bridgetown, and her family; aunt, Carmen (Jim) Balcom, Middleton, and cousins Megan, Nictaux; and Nick (Rachael Heald), Fall River; aunt, Carolyn ( Roger) Denton, Brighton, and cousins Tamara, Joel, Nathaniel (Samantha); aunt, Deborah (Ben) Wetmore, Digby, and cousins Joanna, Cecil, Nicholas; aunt, Darlene (Lloyd) Cook, Brighton, and cousins, Jacob, Eric and Rebekah; uncles, Winston (Paulette) Haight and cousin Clarke, Fredericton, N.B.; Caleb (Cathy) Haight and cousins Mindy, Donna, and Jonathan. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Warren and Margaret (Sanford) Roop; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Bessie (Cook) Haight. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Middleton Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Middleton Baptist Church, Rev. Danny Smith officiating.
