Carla Butler Living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada bcarla12 at hotmail dot com
I was just downloading some old songs, feeling a little homesick, when I looked up this sight. I was sure I remember adding my bio during a particulary good Merlot...however, I must have missed a few steps!!
I am currently living with my husband Yves and two daughters Emma (6 years) and Sophie (3 weeks) The age gap - I know - we had lost the recipe traveling across Canada 5 1/2 years ago.
I found an amazing teaching job with the Catholic Board and Yves with a private school. Calgary has been very good to us but I miss the salt water. Or maybe it was the fresh air at the Shore in the middle of the night??
If you are in Calgary - or even if you live in the North... look me up!!

Patty Doucet Now Patty Saunders Living in Paradise, Nova Scotia, Canada wolfpol at glinx dot com
After graduation, Patty had a hard time settling on what to do with her life. That's Gen-X for ya! After an unsatisfying year at SMU, she decided to attend Radio and TV Broadcasting at Kingstec. It was full, so she ended up taking the Library Technician's course. This led her to 6 enjoyable years working in school. But Patty needed a challenge. Encouraged by her husband, Shaun, and a close friend in the RCMP, Patty began the long and difficult process of becoming a member of Canada's national police force. After much blood, sweat, and tears, Patty took her first posting far from home in Burnaby, BC. But home is home, so Patty made the tough (but proper) decision to turn in her red serge and return to her beloved Valley. She is currently working at the Wolfville Police Dept., and encourages any fellow grads of '88 or other friends to drop by or send an e-mail.

I also own Strategic Safety Inc., an occupational health and safety consulting company since 1996. Despite the workload, Jennifer has decided to keep me around (9 years already!). Dean MacLean Living in Portland, Oregon, United States maclean at mac dot com
I left NS after graduating to go to school for TV/Radio Production in Boston Ma. After graduating I moved back to Halifax and worked for a short period of time for the CBC. I moved back to Boston after a year and worked for several TV stations in the area as an editor. After about 5 years I decided I wanted to switch careers and moved into the computer industry. I currently work for Apple Computer. Moving back to Boston was the best decision I ever made, not because of work, but because that’s where I met my beautiful wife, Ursula. We have been together for 8 years and married for over 5. Tanya Bruce I owe you $50! And will gladly pay! (based on a bet on when I would get married) We have traveled to Europe, the South Pacific, all over the US and to Peru, where Ursula is from.
We both enjoy sports. Tennis and volleyball are our biggest interests. We’ve both gone to US nationals for volleyball twice. We currently live in Portland Oregon, and no it doesn’t rain that much here!
No kids at this time but hoping to soon. We do have the cutest little bilingual dog though. Life is REALLY good.
If your in the area look me up, or just send me an e-mail and let me know how things are going!

Sharlene McKinnon Living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada sharbean at gmail dot com
Here's the extremely short version of the last 20 years of my life:
After graduating from MRHS, I went to Acadia University and graduated with a BA in History / English. From here I moved to Calgary to attend the U of C and graduated with an Archaeology / Osteology degree. This means I spent many years in a dusty lab looking at bone fragments.
In 1997 after a long sojourn through India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, and a long jaunt working for the Police Service in Calgary, I decided to make a career change and spent a year studying animation, CD-ROM production, and web design.
With all this under my belt, I now work as a professional geek for a company called ThoughtWorks.

Wow. It’s so weird to see what everyone is doing these days. Some interesting tales. Myself, after MRHS I went to Dalhousie for, more or less, 12 years (with a few years off in between to travel and work - did some commercial diving and a lot of DJ'ing). 3 degrees later, I emerged in 2000 with my LLB. I have been practicing law in Halifax since. Having a hell of a lot of fun. If I'm not working, I can usually be found out on my boat sailing (I took it up in 1994 and have never looked back). Gave up DJ'ing a few years ago but still get the urge to spin some vinyl every so often. Hmm...what else. My old crew has pretty much been together since high school. Me, Bruce Fraser and Brent Huber still hang out. Brent is in Halifax as well and Bruce moved to NFLD a while back. We just got back together for Brent's wedding recently. Other than that, I have not really kept in touch with many people except Craig Stephen and a few others. Myself I got married last summer on a tall ship. It was incredible and married life is awesome. Take care everyone!

Hi all, :)
I've been reading everyone else's profiles. Looks like there's been some interesting times in people's lives.
After graduating from MRHS I went to Acadia where I got a Bach in Computer Science (go figure :D )
I worked in Toronto for a few years before becoming a consultant and traveling all over the US and Canada (you can see my pictures at the flickr website).
Currently I'm residing in Indianapolis, IN. When not working I travel, cook, dance and take photos. I don't get home as often as I'd like, but c'est la vie. I'd like to hear from anyone who'd like catch up on old times :)

Hello to the Class of 88! What a great way to catch up! Wow, so much has happened since Graduation. I graduated from Prince Andrew High in Dartmouth in 1988 and went on to MSVU where I obtained my Bach. Degree in early Child. Dev. After that I worked at Brandy's Cafe in HFX where I tried my hand at cocktailing and Bartending for 2 years. Then I was off to the sunny South where I lived for six years and Graduated from Florida Metropoliton University in Clearwater Florida with an Asscociates Degree in Computer Inf. Sciences. Then low and Behold, out of the Blue I get a call from Middleton,NS. from Peter Smith. Well to make a long story short, after 13 years He and his Daughter, Jessica came to visit me in Florida, and six months later we were driving back to Canada in a U-Haul, with my car in tow, back to the Mid Valley Motel which we took back over in1999, and we were Married June 14th,2003. In a Nut shell!! Would love to hear from you all!
Take Care
