I was glad to hear about the upcoming reunion and am looking forward to seeing "old" friends!! After living & working in Halifax for a few years, I moved back here to "god's country" in 1981. My husband, Jim, and I share our home, which overlooks the Valley, with our horse, Smokey, and rottweiler, Ace. Looking forward to seeing and/or reading about everyone!

Jacqueline (nee Morse, class of '79) and I have been living and working in the National Capital Region of Ontario for the past eleven years. For better than fifteen years, I have been building and integrating combat systems for the Canadian Armed Forces, primarily our Navy. I travel North America playing competitive duplicate bridge. Finally, if anybody is worried that their handicap is the low, you can join me anytime for golf at the Camelot Golf and Country club just outside of Ottawa.

G. Scott Gillis Living in St. John\'s, Newfoundland, Canada jsgillis at nf dot sympatico dot ca
After graduating from NSLSI (COGS) in 1980 I took a position with an engineering firm in St. John's, Nfld. This led to work offshore on the oil rigs which I tried unsuccesfully to get away from after a close call with the Ocean Ranger disaster. I moved to Ottawa in '82, back to Middleton in '83 and eventually back to St. John's for more work in the offshore after a season in the Beaufort Sea. I have maintained some contact with the offshore oil industry for the most part and after several years on the Hibernia Project moved on to Terra Nova.
I married a treasure from here on the island in 1988 and we now have a son, Mhorgan born in 1990 and two daughters: Chelsea born in 1992, Kirsten born in 1996.
I get back to Middleton pretty well every summer and will always consider it home.

Myra Page Now Myra Page Bruce Living in Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada butterflymyra at hotmail dot com
My life since graduation has been full of adventures and life lessons. I graduated from Middleton's Vocational School in 1981 and was married soon after that. One of the most important events of my life was the birth of my son, Adam, in 1983. Following this event I spent many years caring for my son and working in private home care.
In 2004 I made one of the best decisions of my life, I divorced my son's dad and got back into the workforce, where I remained until an illness forced me to rethink my career choice of the past two years.
In 2008 I graduated from NSCC, with an updated version of the career I had chosen many years ago. My current career with the Victoria Order of Nurses is extremely rewarding. Most importantly, my life became complete when I married Danny Bruce, the most compassionate man I know.
