Roger Angevine Living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada roger dot angevine at ns dot sympatico dot ca
Married to Andree Beals (67) and living in Halifax. Three children Sarah Jane, Kyle and Rebecca. Looking forward to Reunion 2000.
From the 1967 Yearbook:
"Greatness is bestowed on but a few, I'm glad I was one of them!"
"Rog" is another of those boys from Wilmot who has been with us since Grade Seven. He has always been interested in sports, especially basketball, and can usually be found arguing the latest scores with the "boys at the back table" or in the gym brushing up on his shooting. He has always found time to assist in various school activities and still maintain a good academic standing. Although his plans after leaving school are indefinite as yet, we wish him good fortune in whatever career he chooses.

I was a cartographer for 5 years. My husband Greg and I moved back to the valley from Moncton 30 years ago. I became a housewife and mother. We adopted one 7 year old boy. He grew to be a man and a wonderful father to our two grandchildren. Unfortunately, he died of his own hand in 2001.
I am now an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay and love meeting and talking to wonderful women.
I still like to draw and paint. Two years ago, I took up golf, now I'm hooked. I won the club, low net championship, my first competition. That was a shocker.
Last fall, after being afraid of the water for 50 some years, I started taking swimming lessons.
It is not an easy task to lose that fear. I love the water, but I'm not ready to jump into the deep end yet. I intend to swim unaided before I check out of this world. (Which I hope is no time soon.)
I have recently gone back to church after not going on a regular basis since I was 9 years old.
In the last three years, my whole life has changed. The only things that are still the same are my husband and my house. I believe that life begins at 50 and I'm just starting to stretch my wings. I can hardly wait to see what tomorrow brings. I would love to hear from some of the people that I used to know in MRHS.

Susan L. Johnson Now Susan L. Balcom Living in Coldbrook, Nova Scotia, Canada rbalcom at accesswave dot ca
Thanks to Mary (Chesley) Bent I was directed to this website. I am residing in Coldbrook with hubby of 36 years, Roy, and enjoying life to the fullest. After being employed with the Kings County School Board for almost 20 years I resigned from my posiiton, when amalgamation occured, and accepted a position with the Municipality of Kings as the HR Assistant. The past 7 years have been very eventful and busy for me. I am currently taking a course through Dalhousie University and will have my certification in the fall of 2004. I hold many volunteer positions; member of the NSHR Association, the Atlantic Theatre Festival; treasurer for the local HR chapter; trustee and recording secretary at my church; secretary for the Annapolis Crime Stoppers Group; secretary for the Police Week Planning Committee; Queens' Director for Berwick Gala Days; and served 6 years as Pageant Director for the Apple Blossom Festival. My list is longer, but why bore you?!
My/our sons, Chris and Scott, are Safety Supervisors working on oil rigs in Saudi Arabia. Their stories are incrediable and exciting to hear. They are also dads, so we are blessed with two super rugrats, Kathleen and Cole. There are many visits to "Nonnie's" house for sleepovers.
For the past 26 years Roy and I have operated a very successful business that is growing annually.
I enjoy travelling and have enjoyed many trips to BC (skiing at Whistler for Christmas is an awesome experience), Alberta, DR, Cuba and cruises in the Caribeann.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening and entertaining our family and friends.
I would enjoy hearing from any of you who remember me. I always find time to answer my e-mails.

Barbara Ann Thompson Living in Wilmot, Nova Scotia, Canada barbthom at auracom dot com
Hi everyone. I have been back living in the Valley since 1983. After Commercial Course in 1968, went to Toronto for 2 years, West Germany for 2 years, back to Toronto for 6 years, BC for 3 years, and Yellowknife for 2 years, doing secretarial work for lawyers, GNWT and DND. Now living the quiet life, approaching retirement. Enjoyed meeting up with lots of the gang at recent MRHS reunions. Great reading the info on this website and seeing what people have been up to!
