Get Yourself Listed
The easiest and fastest way to get listed on the site is to use the Quick Form. The type of information that is best is a brief description of what you have been doing and where you have been since you left MRHS. For your own privacy, I do not recommend that you include your physical address, your telephone number, or your exact place of employment in your listing, although you are free to do so if you wish. Make sure you include the year you want to be listed under. If you are not crazy about forms, you can just send me an e-mail.
Tell Your Friends
Be sure to send the MRHS Grad Project web site address to any friends you may have kept in contact with since leaving MRHS. Even if your friend does not have Internet access, they can still get listed.
Send Information
Most yearbooks have the results of Grad Polls (best hair, best personality, etc.) or Student Polls (favourite song, favourite movie, etc.). These polls make a nice snap shot of the time.
Some yearbooks have a paragraph of names, events, and issues of the year that can also be quite interesting.
There was even an MRHS Book of Records, but it appears to have only been mentioned in one yearbook, I would like to find out if it was mentioned in any others. I like to indicate who the Student Council President was for each year. Anything else about a year that would be of general interest. And finally, anyone is welcome to send their memories of MRHS.
If you can provide any of this material or anything else that would be of interest, please send me an e-mail.
Yearbook Photos
Right now I have access to no MRHS yearbooks. If you have a yearbook and would like to have a photo with your listing, you will have to send a scan of it attached to an e-mail. Otherwise, I have to put your name on a waiting list until someone volunteers to send me a scan.
Wanted Photos
If you have a scanner and some yearbooks, please watch for the "Photo Wanted" graphic. Scan photos in black and white at a medium or low resolution setting and send them to the MRHS Grad Project attached to an e-mail (info at mrhsgrads dot ca). If you are not sure about changing scanner setting, just send whatever you can get.
Recent Photos
If you have access to a scanner or a digital camera, you may want to include a recent photograph of yourself. A close cropped head shot is best. Try to keep your image size small please. Save your image using the .jpg format with a medium compression setting, and attach it to an e-mail. If you are unsure about how to adjust all these settings, just do your best to get a good image and send it as an attachment to your e-mail and I will see what I can do on this end.
Other Photos
Got a photograph taken at MRHS or on a school trip? Maybe a pic snapped at a birthday party or other get together? Got a picture of a some grads in grade school? Want to share it? Just send a scan attached to an e-mail along with a list of the names of the people in the picture, and a description of the occasion.
