"Getting off", "getting into", consciousness, reality, Macho, hassle, Wunderbar, disco sucks, banality. John Travolta, Paul McCarney, Elton, Bee Gees, Billy Joel, Morris, Kermit, Robin Williams, Eagles, Fonda, Dennis Cole. Trudeau, Atwood, Margaret Thatcher, Peter Kent, and Red Brigade, Radner, Dylan, test-tube baby, anti-nuclear motorcade. Solar power, palimony, S.A.L.T., Proposition B, Bill and highway 101, terrorism, disco, "me". Metric, running, roller disco, Rocky's I and II, and Stones, Non-running, acid rain, anexoria nervosa, clones. Good-bye Dief, John Wayne, Don Messer, Freddie Prinze, and Dizzy Dean, Bing, Meir, Armstrong and Ellington, Chaplin and Pickford of silent screen. Can't eat or drink for cancer fear, Nothing is safe – not even beer. And who will cry, in future ages. For cancer-ridden rats in laboratory cages? Those who proclaimed what we cannot buy. Perfect the tech by which we'll die. This decade of losses, of violence and blues, Was rough on popes (we wore out two). Many a trend saw rise and fall. The Seventies – over, gone, all.

I always thought it was called "Katen Sand Beach" until some time in my late teens someone corrected me and said it was in fact called "Cape and Sand Beach", which I assumed was correct, but perhaps not...

"Keating Sand Beach". That is the correct spelling, I know because we (the County) has been trying for the past couple years to acquire the property to ensure it remains accesible to the public.
