-Carol Martin (From the 1980 Loudspeaker)

Katen sand beach, $20 baggies, sneaking into the liquor store.
That was the '70's.

-Winnipeg 1999

On this page (above) you'll find "Katen sand beach". It should read "Cape & Sand Beach"

-Pat H. 2000

I always thought it was called "Katen Sand Beach" until some time in my late teens someone corrected me and said it was in fact called "Cape and Sand Beach", which I assumed was correct, but perhaps not...

-E. Beals, 2000

"Keating Sand Beach". That is the correct spelling, I know because we (the County) has been trying for the past couple years to acquire the property to ensure it remains accesible to the public.

-Grant Oxner, 2000
